Module 14: When Reunification is Not in the Best Interest of the Child

This workshop reviews with new Child Welfare Professionals the options available to achieve permanency when reunification of the family can no longer be considered. An understanding of the federal and state regulatory guidelines assists Child Welfare Professionals in knowing their own role in the process of placement in order to achieve the overall mission of timely safety, permanency, and well-being for children, youth, and families. This workshop is eligible for 6 Continuing Education Credit Hours (CEU) for LSW, LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.
