Charting the Course towards Permanency for Children in Pennsylvania (Charting the Course)

Module 12: The Court Process
(1 day – 6 hours)

This workshop increases the new Child Welfare Professionals’ knowledge of the juvenile court process and enhances their ability to understand their role in that process and apply this knowledge to the preparation and presentation of a case in juvenile court. This knowledge will enhance the Child Welfare Professionals ability to accurately identify cases that should go to court and know what criteria are to be met to support recommendations for family services and/or placement of a child in substitute care. This workshop is eligible for 6 Continuing Education Credit Hours (CEU) for LSW, LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.
